This course consists of 6 contact hours where candidates MUST attend all of the sessions.

The course will deliver the following content in which you will be required to: 

​

• Be able to assess an emergency situation and prioritise what action to take.

• Help a baby or child who is unresponsive and breathing normally.

• Help a baby or child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally.

• Help a baby or child who is having a seizure.

• Help a baby or child who is choking. • Help a baby or child who is bleeding.

• Help a baby or child who is suffering from shock caused by severe blood loss (Hypovolemic shock)

The course will also cover:

• Anaphylaxis

• Febrile Convulsions

• Which health service provider would be the most appropriate to contact in the event of you having an ill infant or child in your setting.

There will be opportunities to discuss additional training for any special circumstances in your setting.

Course for 12 candidates - £650.00 (when 12 candidates are booked this saves £310.00 based on 12 individual course places).
